I don't have an answer, but according to [documentation](https://docs.openstack.org/nova/latest/admin/virtual-gpu.html) support of virtual GPUs depends not only on the GPU but also the hypervisor.

Looks like the k80 is not compatible (as said in note 2 of [nvidia docs](https://docs.nvidia.com/grid/gpus-supported-by-vgpu.html). Thank you very much my friend.
